Unveiling the Benefits of Prayer and Fasting: You will discover the hidden treasures that God has for using our daily walk with Him. All through the Bible, we are encouraged to pray and fast to the one who knows and has created all things. Come and find out the true path to effective fasting and praying.
Instructor: Evangelist Joyce Brooks

Old Testament Survey: This two semester course will follow the progressive plan of God in bringing man back into relationship with Him after the fall of Adam. We will cover all 39 books of the Old Testament with emphasis on the Pentateuch, the Names of God, and Jesus as seen in the Old Testament.

New Testament Survey: This two semester course will see the redemptive plan of God set in motion with the promised Redeemer. It will review the history of the Messiah in the Gospels, the history of the church in Acts, and the writings of Paul and the Apostles to the church. A survey of “Last Things” (Revelation) will conclude the class.

The Major and Minor Prophets: In this class you will become familiar with the meaning of the names of the prophets and their cultural background and history. The lessons will provide you with an understanding of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary men to be His mouthpiece to the nations. Come and be challenged and edified as we journey through each book of the Prophets.

Renewing the Mind-A Standard of Holiness: This course will not begin until Sept. 20, 2010. The students will receive insights of what the Scriptures teach about the mind and the importance of the mind. The student will gain a greater understanding of how to renew the mind to the things of God and the benefits that are achieved when the mind is renewed.

The TRIUNE GOD: The source for all knowledge of God is God Himself who has chosen to reveal Himself to men through the universe which He created and the Scriptures which He inspired. This class covers the individuality of GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON and GOD the HOLY SPIRIT. The biblical teaching of the Trinity in introduced. Topics include the character and work of God; the preexistence, incarnation, deity, death, resurrection and return of Christ; and the personality and power of the Holy Spirit.

Exploring Our Beliefs: We who are called by the NAME of the Lord, possess a great responsibility in definitely knowing and understanding God’s Word. Reading the Bible, plus memorizing and quoting verses, are good. However a vital verse that relates to us is Proverbs 4:7 (Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; and with all thy getting, get an understanding). This spiritually exciting course will cause us to venture into exploring assumptions to gain their meanings and understandings.

Money Matters – “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thou soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2. This ten week course is intended to teach basic money management that will help you get out of debt, improve your credit score, budget your money better, plan for retirement and understand investments. We have also incorporated biblical scriptures that we can apply as we learn money management strategies.
