The Benefits of Prayer and Fasting In this one semester course,you will discover the hidden treasures that God has for us in our daily walk with Him. All through the Bible, we are encouraged to pray and fast to the one who knows and has created all things. Come and find out the true path to effective fasting and praying.

Old Testament Survey – This two semester course will follow the progressive plan of God in bringing man back into relationship with Him after the fall of Adam. We will cover all 39 books of the Old Testament with emphasis on the Pentateuch, the Names of God, and Jesus as seen in the Old Testament.

New Testament Survey - This two semester course will see the redemptive plan of God set in motion with the promised Redeemer. It will review the history of the Messiah in the Gospels, the history of the church in Acts, and the writings of Paul and the Apostles to the church. A survey of “Last Things” (Revelation) will conclude the class.

The Major and Minor Prophets – In this class you will become familiar with the meaning of the names of the prophets and their cultural background and history. The lessons will provide you with an understanding of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary men to be His mouthpiece to the nations. Come and be challenged and edified as we journey through each book of the Prophets.

Renewing the Mind – A Standard of Holiness – In this course, the student will receive insight of what the Scriptures teach about the mind and the importance of the mind. The student will gain a greater understanding of how to renew the mind to the things of God and the benefits that are achieved when the mind is renewed.

The Four Gospels and the Book of Acts Excitement excitement…This is what you will experience in this class! WWJD..What would Jesus do? You will learn exactly what He did, in witnessing, in healing, in casting out demons, in choosing His disciples, in teaching them about the Word and through His actions. This class is for the bold and daring who desire more than just the surface. What is expected of you as a disciple? Find out whether you are a James, Peter or John?

COGIC History and Polity This class will provide you with the roots of the Church of God in Christ. You will find out how the largest Black Pentecostal Church began before the “celebrated “ date of 1907. Many stereotypical stories of the founder, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason and the church will be shattered.

Cults, The Occult and Unacceptable Religions: This course will introduce you to several reasons for the dramatic growth of cults, the occult and unacceptable religions, new and old. You will discover how they seek converts all over the world. You will learn what they are, what they teach and how to deal with their doctrines.
