Taking It To The Streets “Taking It to the Streets 2009”  The event was a free all day, church and or community festivities, held Sat. July 18th 2009.  It was a day of Basketball Competition, Balloons, Bounces, Water Slides, Food, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, and Carnival Games.  Food Bank, Health & Community information, City & State Representatives.  All free… Sponsored by Bishop Ernest C. Morris, (Founding Pastor) Mt. Airy Church of God In Christ, State Representative Dwight Evans, and United States Census 2010. People of all ages brought lawn chairs for the all day entertainment; which included a Parade, Drills Team, College Steppers, Gospel Concert and more. The day was spent mostly outdoors, as the block was blocked from 10am-7pm. click here now.
