MISSIONS

Trips, Crusades, Numerical and Financial Support in areas of our concern in the 3rd world such as Bermuda, Ghana West Africa, Haiti, and domestic missions in the US in the inner city will be an ongoing focus of the Koinonia Jurisdiction.

EVANGELISM

This Department will focus on outreach of the Gospel. District Crusades will take place periodically to strengthen the local churches of a given geographic area. In addition, intensive training of SWAT Teams (street witnessing teams) will take place. At all levels the Koinonia Jurisdiction will sponsor and facilitate extensive training in personal evangelism.

EDUCATION

The goals of the education auxiliary will include the enhancement of every local Sunday School Department. Moreover, opportunities for leadership, training, and participation will be enhanced through the establishment of and active District Sunday School Department. This District will establish linkages to the National Sunday School Department and to the COGIC National School of Ministry. This Department will work toward the development and enhancement of new and traditional Sunday School curricula, and in promoting workshops and seminars.

MUSIC

The Koinonia Jurisdiction Music Department will focus on workshops and training for choirs, vocalists, directors, and musicians. This training will include methodology on the development and training of Dance Ministries (Praise and Liturgical Dance for all ages.) The Koinonia Jurisdiction will seek to enhance the quality and quantity of the musical offerings of each local church, and will encourage participation and leadership development inn all member churches. There will e additional focus on professionalism, discipline, and spirituality in performance, with an eye toward production of a CD recording.

The focus of the Koinonia Jurisdiction Ministry to children and youth will be multifaceted. It will include development, training, education, and recreation through means of the following:
